PANKHUDI Digital Platform Launched for Women & Child Welfare

Context
The Union Minister has launched PANKHUDI, a comprehensive digital platform aimed at simplifying partnerships and strengthening service delivery for women and children through structured CSR and voluntary engagement.
Platform Overview: PANKHUDI operates as a centralized, single-window digital system enabling transparent CSR and philanthropic collaboration, proposal management, and impact assessment in priority social sectors related to women and child development.
Nodal Ministry: Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD)
Core Objective: To promote effective coordination, accountability, and organized participation among government bodies, corporates, NGOs, NRIs, and citizens, leading to improved welfare outcomes for women and children across the country.
Salient Components
- Single Access Point: Integrated interface for corporates, NGOs, individuals, NRIs, and government stakeholders.
- Focus Areas: Nutrition, healthcare, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), child protection, and women’s safety and empowerment.
- Mission Convergence: Digital enablement of Mission Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0, Mission Vatsalya, and Mission Shakti through standardized workflows.
- Transparency Mechanism: End-to-end online processes covering registration, proposal approval, and real-time monitoring; restricted to non-cash contributions for enhanced traceability.
- Outreach Scale: Supports infrastructure and service improvements across 14+ lakh Anganwadi Centres, ~5,000 Child Care Institutions, ~800 One Stop Centres, ~500 Shakhi Niwas, and ~400 Shakti Sadan.
