PANCHAM: AI-Powered Digital Bridge for Panchayati Raj Institutions

Context
On the occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj introduced an AI-powered initiative titled PANCHAM (Panchayat Assistance and Messaging Chatbot).
The platform creates a nationwide digital interface connecting the Union Government with nearly 30 lakh grassroots elected representatives, enabling continuous two-way communication.
