Context

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana has recently gained attention for its contribution to building robust agri-processing infrastructure and strengthening farm-to-consumer value chains in India.

Scheme Category: PMKSY is a Central Sector umbrella programme of the Government of India.

Evolution: The scheme emerged from the restructuring of the earlier SAMPADA initiative.
